Cool Mist Nursery Humidifier -Elephant
We bought this product about 2 weeks ago to replace a broken brookstone one. So far we love it.
We live in Los Angeles, so it is pretty dry here especially when we’re running the heat. We have it set to about 25%, which is the point where we found the water instantly get absorbed into the air, and it was comfortable in our bedroom (probably 400 sq ft). We’re moving it to the baby’s room since she’s sleeping in her own room now, and decided to buy another crane humidifer
Pros:
- Ample humidity at 25%, and only need to refill the tank every 3-4 days
- Cute looking
- Never seen water below it (I assume the negative rating users has it set too high or got a faulty product)
- Fairly quiet
Cons:
- I get water all over the place when replacing the water. Usually there is a some water left at the bottom which required special handling I guess, and I haven’t quite mastered it.

So far this humidifier is been great. I had the penguin design and I always had leaking problems.

I purchased this humidifier a few months back. The first month was perfect – even the light on the front and the trickling noise didn’t bother me. I wrote a great review and posted it.
About one month into owning this cute humidifier I noticed that when it was turned to full blast, by morning there was water puddled underneath it. Thank goodness I had set it inside a plastic pan or my wooden table would be ruined. The next night I turned the humidifier to only half output and for a few days everything was great. However within four or so days it started to leak even then. Since then it has been pretty much the same: me putting it at a smaller output and finding it still leaks.
Do not let this product fool you. I did months of research and was suprised to find this particular humidifier with the best reviews and at such an affordable price. Now I understand why it was so cheap.
